The Wheeler on room school was located in Wheeler, Washington where several of the Ottmar children attended school grades 1 thru 8. The auther (Harley Ottmar) started school in Wheeler where the teacher, Mildred Ottmar, gave me my first spanking. Older grade students were good at getting the younger naive first graders in trouble. Attending this school were Ottmar children Alvin, Edwin, Reuben, Arthur, George, Nora and Harley. Not listed may be other Ottmar children of Jacob and Barbara and other family members that I (Harley Ottmar) am not aware of at this time.
